About me

A Personal Journey to Professional Healing

I am a qualified and registered hypnotherapist driven by a genuine passion for helping clients achieve positive growth and lasting change through hypnotherapy and talking therapy. My caring, empathetic approach is rooted in both professional training and deeply personal experience.

Qualifications and Expertise

Beyond my hypnotherapy credentials, I'm qualified in neuro-linguistic programming and certified to teach meditation. I've discovered that meditation and mindfulness beautifully complement hypnotherapy – both encourage living fully in the present moment rather than being trapped by past regrets or future anxieties, which so often fuel our struggles.

My 'Why' - A Mother's Discovery

My journey into hypnotherapy began in 2017 when my daughter was battling severe anxiety and panic attacks as a teenager. Despite trying various forms of support, nothing seemed to make a real difference. Then we visited a local hypnotherapist and I was absolutely astounded by the transformation we witnessed – meaningful, lasting change in just three sessions.

This experience gave me profound insight into how mental health challenges impact entire families. More importantly, it showed me the remarkable speed and effectiveness of hypnotherapy, inspiring me to pursue this training myself.

From Support to Transformation

Throughout my career, I've always been drawn to supportive roles – from working as a private secretary to my recent position as a learning support assistant with 16-24 year olds with educational needs. As my hypnotherapy training progressed, I realised this was exactly where I was meant to be.

The transformative results I achieved with clients during training confirmed this. There's nothing more rewarding than meeting new people and witnessing their personal growth and positive change unfold.

Your Comfort and Safety

I believe in making hypnotherapy accessible and comfortable for everyone. That's why I offer a complimentary, no-obligation consultation and relaxation session – particularly important if you're new to hypnotherapy. I provide in-person sessions, online sessions when needed and home visits can be arranged.

Professional Standards: I maintain an enhanced DBS check with current safeguarding training and am a proud member of The General Hypnotherapy Register, The Federation of Holistic Therapists and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
Living What I Teach

When I'm not in the treatment room, you'll find me running, practicing yoga, cycling, or open water swimming. This is my essential 'me time' – and as a passionate advocate for self-care, I understand its vital importance in maintaining wellbeing.

Your journey to positive change starts when you are ready. I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
